Why did She and I encourage The Boys to go to college? Lots of reasons.

Here are a few. I’ve decided to Show & Tell rather than just Tell. It seemed like a good exercise. Please excuse the VO, that guy’s voice is dreadful. And the only microphone I seem to own is on my phone.

Education and training beyond High School is absolutely critical. Universities, Colleges, Trade Schools, Career Training programs, Community Colleges, and the military are some of the ways our kids can make sure that every year there aren’t over a million high school graduates entering the work force at least as educated as they are.

We wanted The Boys to try it. I’d agree with someone saying that college isn’t for everyone. But they don’t know until they try, right? And if it isn’t right for them, they should try the Next Thing. It’s too important to not seek the answer.

Almost all of my statistics came from the National Labor Board, the National Center for Education Statistics, or the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
